NVIDIA’s next top GPU Ada Lovelace RTX 4090 could consume up to 900 W

But to this we must add that, according to a well-known leaker, Nvidia would be preparing an RTX 3090 graphics card that would consume 900 W , which would make it the most demanding GPU in the history of gaming graphics.

This 900W card is said to be the AD102 GPU, which features 48GB of 24Gbps GDDR6X memory and the unit is powered by two 16-pin PCIe 5.0 power connectors. Each of these 16-pin connectors is capable of delivering 600W of power.

So, with two of them on board, there should be a bit more wiggle room for this alleged 900W card. The leaker believes this GPU may be a real possibility , as the AD102 test boards reportedly carry more than two 16-pin PCIe power cables.

Kopite7kimi has also revealed the alleged specifications of the RTX 4080 and RTX 4070 GPUs: The RTX 4080 would be based on the AD103 chip and will have 16 GB of GDDR6X memory, while the RTX 4070 would be based on the AD104 chip and will have 12 GB. GDDR6 memory.
